Description

MINI RIGIPS RB 9.5X600X2000MM

Rigips RB, type A, is 9.5 mm thick, 2 metres long and 0.6 metres wide.
The Pro-edged board (SR EN 520 + A1:2010), with white gypsum plaster core and grey resistant cardboard sheathing, is heavy combustible (reaction to fire class A2-s1,d0).
Utilisation:
The 9.5 mm variants are recommended for interior fittings, without special requirements for sound insulation, fire protection, etc., in civil and industrial buildings, in dry plastering works (dry wall cladding) - example: cladding window spandrels, making light skylights at ceiling level.
Depending on the physical and constructional requirements of the building, single, double or triple clad walls can be realised with Rigips RB gypsum plasterboards.
The physical and static qualities of the walls result from the co-operation of the gypsum plasterboard supporting structure with the insulating layers inside the wall.
This results in building elements adapted to different construction conditions, which provide Rigips walls:
with a weight 4 times lower (25-50 kg/sq.m) than the classic masonry wall of the same thickness, reducing the loads acting on the building's resistance structure;
with durability over time - throughout the life of the building, under normal operating conditions indicated by the manufacturer;
with the desired functional benefits in relation to the type of board chosen: moisture protection, fire protection, impact resistance, with the role of purifying indoor air;
realised in less time than masonry or concrete walls;
easy and quick to move, without major losses, by dismantling and reassembling in the event of a change in the function of the building.
In addition, the base material from which plasterboard is made is composite, gypsum rock, bringing health benefits and playing a role in regulating the indoor climate: when the air is too humid, the macropores take up and accumulate moisture, helping to dry the air, and when the air is too dry in the room, they release moisture and thus balance the humidity level of the air.
Gypsum is intrinsically a natural barrier against fire: it contains about 20 per cent water incorporated in the crystals. In the event of fire, this water acts as a kind of reservoir built into the construction. It is also a cosy material because it can create, like wood, a wall that is pleasant to the touch and does not feel as cold as masonry walls.
